Altafulla Family Scavenger Hunt

Through the new digital “Altafulla, Botanical Experiments” Scavenger Hunt, everyone can enjoy a new tourism experience in which visitors solve different puzzles while learning about Altafulla’s historical, cultural and botanical heritage.
A digital treasure hunt designed to transform the visitor experience and make learning about our history and heritage fun and accessible to everyone.
It is a detective adventure in which users start with an initial mystery that they must solve, leading them to different points of interest throughout the town. Starting the game is as easy as scanning the QR code or accessing the web link.
The scavenger hunt is set in the time of the renowned Altafulla-born scientist and Honorary Citizen Antoni de Martí i Franquès (Altafulla, 14 June 1750 – Tarragona, 20 August 1832), focusing on his experiments in the field of botany and, particularly, plant physiology.
The game features a total of 10 puzzles, which can be completed in around 70 minutes, following a 1.2-kilometre route. It is available in Catalan, Spanish, English and French, and is a free activity, available 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
